With the 27th pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select DEVIN MCCOURTY!

McCourty was named Top Performer at the 2010 NFL Combine in Broad Jump, 40yd dash, 20yd shuttle and 3 Cone Drill. Add that to great film and you have a 1st round pick.

Take a look at what Devin, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated had to say about his performance at the NFL Combine.

Devin on his training experience at IGNITION:
“Training at IgnitionFLORIDA with Clif Marshall was the best and most important decision I have made for my football career. Clif is a true student and coach of the science of the NFL combine.” The daily individual attention in every drill we did made all the difference. The spiritual aspect of the program was my favorite part as it helped me become a better person and athlete.”

"Devin McCourty could come away the biggest winner among defensive backs. He was super fast, timing right around 4.40 seconds, and showed strength by pushing up 16 reps on the bench. And his skills in drills were near outstanding. McCourty now enters the conversation as a late first-round pick." - SI.COM

"After running a 4.38 40 yd sprint at the combine McCourty moved himself from the late 2nd round into the late 1st round." - Mel Kiper from ESPN

IGNITION sets up shop at 2010 NFL Combine

Devin McCourty, Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Mardy Gilyard, Dennis Rogan

Clif Marshall, Program Director of Ignition, along with his colleague Ted Borgerding, setup a small IGNITION shop inside the Omni Hotel in downtown Indianapolis during the 2010 NFL Combine. Alongside IGNITION’s staff, Andy Shetterly of Peak Performance Physical Therapy was on hand to stretch, massage, and perform therapy on the nine IGNITION Combine Athletes.

IGNITION wanted to open up this room for their athletes in order for them to have a place to focus, mentally and physical prepare for the Combine Testing, as well as provide them with the proper nutrition over the weekend. Players were able to retreat in this room as it was directly across from the Lucas Oil Stadium where the NFL Combine took place. Along with players, EASTBAY and other media outlets were able to conduct interviews, NIKE and other apparel companies were close by, and visitors were able to convene in this same area.
