Player Spotlight: Ryan Jones - IgnitionOH


Ignition is excited to be working with Ryan Jones, cornerback from Northwest Missouri State. Ryan came to Cincinnati the first week of January to begin preparing for the NFL Draft. Ryan, originally from Liberty, Missouri, is majoring in corporate recreations and also minors in coaching. As a full time student athlete, Ryan not only succeeded in the class room, but on the field as well. While ranking 9th in the nation for interceptions and 5th in the nation for passes defended, Ryan also compiled many awards for his performance: 2010 AFCA DIvision II Coaches' All-America Team, 2010 Daktronics 1st-Team All-America, Two-Time 1st Team All-MIAA, 1st Team All-Region. Ryan will also be playing in the Texas vs. The Nation game in early February.

Coach Chuck Bresnahan mentors the 2011 Combine Prep Class - First Stop: IgnitionFL


Charles "Chuck" Bresnahan brings his expertise to the 2011 NFL Combine Prep Athletes in Florida and Ohio prior to all-star games and the NFL Combine. Chuck is currently the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League. Previously Bresnahan was the defensive coordinator for the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals. Bresnahan joined the Bengals coaching staff in 2004 as a defensive assistant coach, and was promoted to defensive coordinator on January 9, 2005, where Marshall also worked on the Strength Staff and both captured the AFC North Championship that same year. Prior to joining the Bengals, Bresnahan coached in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and the Oakland Raiders where he was their defensive coordinator from 2000 to 2003.

UT Longhorns Standout Acho reports for NFL Combine Training at Ignition


Sam Acho reported to Naples Florida this week to begin his training at Ignition for the Under Armour Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine. The Texas defensive end is on of the top Defensive Lineman in the 2011 NFL Draft. Acho is the winner of the William V. Campbell Trophy, given to college football's top scholar-athlete. He was also awarded 2010 ALL-BIG 12 FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM and the 2010 RONNIE LOTT IMPACT AWARD FINALIST. Acho led the Longhorns in sacks with nine and tackles for loss with 17 this season, also adding five fumble recoveries. His five fumble recoveries lead the nation this season and are tied the UT single-season record.

Former top ten NFL Draft Pick Ike Hilliard joins TEAM IGNITION as coach/ mentor


We are excited to have a former Top 10 NFL Draft Pick Ike Hilliard join Team Ignition as a coach / mentor.He will be working with our offensive skill players as well as mentor all athletes on how to be a pro and what to expect with the draft process. One of the best to ever play for the Florida Gators, who also played for 12 seasons in the NFL. Praise be to GOD!
